CleanWins Document Upload: Format and Size Rules
Verifying your account at an online casino is a standard security procedure, and CleanWins is no exception. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of the document upload process at CleanWins casino, detailing the exact format and size requirements to ensure your verification is completed quickly and without any hiccups.
Why CleanWins Requires Document Verification
Before diving into the technical details, it’s important to understand why this process is mandatory. CleanWins, like all licensed operators, must comply with strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. This process protects both you and the platform from fraud, ensures you are of legal age to gamble, and guarantees that any winnings, including those from a CleanWins no deposit offer, are paid to the correct person. It is a one-time procedure that secures your account.
Accepted Document Types and Formats
You will typically need to provide two or three documents. CleanWins accepts common file formats to make the process convenient. The supported formats are JPG, PNG, and PDF. The maximum file size for each individual upload is 8MB. Below is a table breaking down the specific documents required and their purpose.
| Document Purpose | Accepted Examples | Key Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Proof of Identity (POI) | Passport, Driver’s License, National ID Card | All four corners must be visible, photo and details clear. |
| Proof of Address (POA) | Utility bill, Bank statement, Tax document | Must be dated within the last 3 months and show your name and address. |
| Payment Method Proof | Front of debit card (first 12 digits hidden), Bank statement screenshot | Must match the name and details on your CleanWins account. |
Step-by-Step Upload Guide
Follow these steps to successfully submit your documents through the CleanWins player portal:
- Log into your CleanWins account and navigate to the ‘My Account’ or ‘Verification’ section.
- You will see a list of required documents (e.g., POI, POA). Click on the ‘Upload’ button next to each one.
- A file browser will open. Locate the scanned image or photo of your document on your device.
- Ensure the file is in JPG, PNG, or PDF format and is under 8MB. Select the file and confirm the upload.
- Repeat the process for each required document. The status will likely change to ‘Under Review’.
Once submitted, the verification team will process your documents. This usually takes between 24 to 48 hours, though it can be faster. You will receive a confirmation email once your account is fully verified.
Common Upload Problems and Solutions
Many delays are caused by easily avoidable issues. Here are the most common problems players encounter:
- Blurry Photos: Ensure the document is on a flat surface with good lighting and no shadows obscuring the text.
- Cropped Documents: The entire document must be in the frame, including all four corners.
- Wrong Document Type: A mobile phone bill is often not accepted for Proof of Address; use a utility bill or bank statement instead.
- File Size Too Large: If your file is over 8MB, use a free online tool to compress the image without losing crucial clarity.
If your submission is rejected, CleanWins will specify the reason via email, allowing you to correct the issue and re-upload promptly.
How Verification Affects Bonuses and Withdrawals
Completing verification is directly tied to cashing out your winnings. You cannot process a withdrawal until your account is verified. Furthermore, claiming any CleanWins bonus or CleanWins free spins will come with wagering requirements. You can often play with the bonus funds before verification is complete, but you must be verified to withdraw any associated winnings. Always check the terms and conditions of a CleanWins promo code offer to understand the specific rules.
